Before applying
Confirm 7+ years of continuous legal residence (3 if reduced, 12 for other permits)
Check your valid residence permit is on the qualifying list
Confirm no disqualifying conviction and no pending deportation
Prepare proof of economic and social integration (tax statements, work and insurance records)
Register in the National Contact Registry (Εθνικό Μητρώο Επικοινωνίας)
Apply for the PEGP with TAXISnet during the application window and pay the €150 fee
Pass the PEGP (20/40 knowledge, 40/60 Greek, 70/100 total)

Get your birth certificate with apostille and official translation
Pay the €550 naturalisation fee (€200 resubmission, €100 EU citizens, refugees, stateless)
Submit the application to the Regional Citizenship Directorate of your area
Attend an interview before a three-member panel if your integration is in doubt

Naturalisation decision published in the Government Gazette (ΦΕΚ)
Take the oath within one year of publication (citizenship starts at the oath)
